Learn to Swim
With drowning being one of the leading causes of unnatural death among young children, I have made it my personal mission to teach as many children as I can to be water safe and to swim. Drowning is a silent killer - one thinks it involves screaming and gasping. You can't be more wrong. Teaching children to be water safe and to enjoy water has become my passion. Swimming is a life skill - it's something a child will retain for the entirety of their life.
Teaching children from 3 years in small group classes guarantees a quality learning experience. Learning to swim can be incredible for your child as it can boost your child's confidence. We do not have a set programme unlike other swimming schools - we will progress with training according to every child's unique development. Swimming lessons will not only teach your child how to swim, but will also encourage them to act responsibly and safely around water.
Stroke Correction & Coaching
We do offer Stroke Correction & Coaching for children wishing to participate in school and competitive swimming.
Where we cannot help, we will refer you to ONYX Aquatic Club based at Virgin Active K90. Have a look ...
About Me ...
My children introduced me to the world of swimming. My eldest stopped competing but my youngest is still at it. That is the main reason why I started getting very involved in the sport. I have been involved in swimming since 2012. I was working in a Corporate environment all my life and when I was retrenched I decided to pursue my passion.
I am a qualified and registered Swim South Africa Learn to Swim Instructor as well as a Level 1 Competitive Coach. I am in possession of my CPR and Level 1 First Aid certificates and have clearance to work with children.
I am a qualified timekeeper, Judge and Starter and you will find me on pool deck if I'm not in the water teaching.
